Born from Jeffrey's story of courage, love, and an unbreakable will to live, our mission is to fight for the human rights, dignity, and full potential of Acquired Brain Injury survivors.
We exist to educate, empower, and advocate, sharing science-based knowledge, real stories, and practical guidance to help families navigate daily life and the healthcare system with confidence and hope.
But our purpose goes further.
We are working to change the system, pushing for laws that protect survivors, expand rehabilitation access, and secure long-term care and support for every life affected by brain injury and their caregivers.
Together, we can bring healing, justice, and lasting change.

In a democracy, public opinion holds the power to drive change, especially on issues like healthcare, where the stakes are high. Today the court of public opinion is crucial, allowing us to unite and demand reforms in the healthcare system. We must come together to address its systemic failures, which negatively impact access to care, treatments, recovery, and rehabilitation.
We must build a platform to share experiences, connect with others facing similar challenges, and advocate for meaningful reforms.

Many individuals struggle to access necessary care due to restrictive insurance policies, denial practices, and the increasing use of automated decision-making systems that delay or limit coverage for medically necessary treatments.

Hospitals and healthcare systems are increasingly influenced by financial incentives that can overshadow patient-centered care, placing strain on both patients and healthcare professionals. This model often prioritizes maintaining profitable relationships with insurers over addressing individual patient needs, resulting in delayed, limited, or denied care.

Insurance companies often operate with limited accountability to patients, imposing coverage decisions that compromise timely and appropriate care. We advocate for stronger oversight and legislative reforms that hold insurers accountable, ensure fair access to medically necessary treatment, and prevent delays or denials that jeopardize patient recovery and dignity.

The pharmaceutical industry often prioritizes profit over patient welfare, contributing to rising medication costs and reduced accessibility. We advocate for legislative and policy reforms that promote pricing transparency, ethical prescribing practices, and patient-centered access to essential medications-especially for individuals with complex and long-term neurological conditions.

Many doctors are overwhelmed and constrained by a healthcare system that ties their hands through systemic pressure. We believe physicians should be free to practice honest, patient-centered medicine, not restricted by insurance driven rules, and financial gains that compromise their ethics and patients care.
Our healthcare system is obstructed by conflicting interests that undermine effective care. By exposing these issues, we can work toward a solution that prioritizes patient well-being without relying on government policies that might entrench the problem.
